IPCC AR5 - Working group 3 - Mitigation of Climate Change

On April 13, 2014 the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released the final draft of its Assessment Review 5 (AR5) report Climate Change 2014: Mitigation of Climate Change – Summary for Policymakers. The report, prepared by AR5 Working Group III, assesses the options for mitigating climate change and their underlying technological, economic and institutional requirements.
Given the forecasting, prospective modelling and prescriptive content of much of this report it is not covered beyond this entry by EnvironmentCounts.org. The companion IPCC AR5 report Climate Change 2013: The Physical Science Basis is, however, the subject of a series of articles elsewhere on this site.
